Ingredient;
1 Coconut (fresh/ desicated),
5-6 curry leaves,
1 pinch of hing,
1tsp methi seeds,
1/2 tsp mustard seeds,
1/2 big potato,
6 red chillies,
2tsp rice,
salt to taste,
1 tbsp tamarind paste(imli)
2 tomatoes,
Method;
Cook potatoes, with tamarind paste and salt till the potatoes are done. Fry all the dry ingredients in 1/2 teaspoon oil and add all rest of the ingredients and grind it to a smooth paste. Now add this ground mixture to the tamarind paste mixture. Bring to boil and close it with the lid. Yummy coconut sambar is ready. You can add any other vegetables instead of potatoes( Brinjal, Okra,Brocolli)
