Bengali rice kheer

Ingredients;

2litres milk,
2-3 spoons rice
,1/2 cup sugar or per your taste
,1 tsp ghee,
 2-3 cashew nuts and almonds broken into pieces
,3-4 raisins(kishmish),
1tsp elaichi powder

Method;

Heat two liters of milk in a thick bottomed pan till the amount is reduced to three-quarters of the original volume. Take two to three spoons of rice that has been washed and dried and add it to the boiling milk. Cook the rice till it is tender and then add sugar and elaichi powder according to your taste. Continue to cook until the milk reduces to half its original volume. Finally, add cashews, almonds and raisins fried in ghee to the kheer and server it cool.
