Ingredients;
1/2 cup dudhi,
1 cup yoghurt,
1 tsp chana dal,
1 tsp rai(mustard seeds),
1 tsp jeera powder(cumin seeds)
1 onion chopped,
3-4 curry leaves,
salt to taste.
2 tsp coriander leaves.
Method;
Wash and peel bottle gourd and chop it in small cubes-deseed depending on the gourd.Cover cook them adding a little salt and water in a pan and set aside to cool.Heat oil in a pan add chana dal,mustard and cumin seeds,when it splutters add curry leaves,onions,salt and cook till the onions turn translucent.Mix the gourd and onions and when cool add yogurt and give a nice stir.Add chopped coriander leaves if preferred.
