Ingredients;
1 thinly slices med sized onion,
2-3 karelas,(slit vertically and then thinly sliced.Soak this in water with a tsp of salt and then squeeze dry, draining off the water)
.2 vertically slit green chillies,
1tsp amchur powder
,1 tsp jeera powder
,1 tsp sugar and
salt to taste.
Method;
Heat 1tbsp oil in a skillet.Add mustard ,and when it splutters,add the slit green chillies and the sliced onions and slowly saute.When the onions are near-brown,add the karelas,amchur powder,jeera powder,salt and mix well.Cook slowly,uncovered,till the karelas blend nicely with the onions.
