Brinjal(baingan)pakora

Ingredients;

Besan – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1/4 cup,
Brinjal – 1 (round)
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain (carom seeds) – 1/2 tsp
Salt – as per your taste

Method;

Firstly  prepare the batter.

  Take a bowl; add besan, rice flour, ajwain (carom seed), coriander powder, pinch of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, salt as per your taste. Add little water to prepare a thick batter. Now we will slice the brinjal. Cut the stalk of brinjal and slice the brinjal in to round and thin pieces. Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder over the slices of brinjal. Heat a pan with enough oil to fry the sliced brinjals . When oil gets heated up, dip the sliced brinjals in the batter one by one and place them in kadai or pan very gently. Fry till golden brown. When one side gets golden brown turn over the pakora. Like wise fry all the sliced brinjals. Baingan pakora is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves a.
