Ingredients;
For the malpuas;
1 tin condensed milk,
2 litres milk
,little flour for binding,
1i tsp saunf(fennel seeds)
1/2 tsp saffron soaked in milk,
1/2 tsp cardamom powder,
oil or ghee for frying.
1/2 cup flour or as per consistency
For the sugar syrup;
1 cup sugar,1 cup water.
Method;
Make the sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar.Cool and set aside.Mix condensed milk,milk,saffron,cardamom powder and saunf with a little flour and make a batter of pouring consistency.Heat ghee and pour a ladleful of batter in a circular form.Fry till golden brown.Soak in sugar syrup and serve hot with roasted papad.
